The name of God יהוה

In both the Old and New Testaments, we read at key points: Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Joel 3:5 And it shall come to pass: Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved. (Slt)
Ever since I have known Jesus, or Yeshua in Hebrew, I have wondered exactly which name it is. After all, ‘the name of the LORD’ is the translation from the original language. But if it is so important to call on the name, you should know what the right name is.
And indeed, there are many secrets hidden in the original name of the LORD.
There is much to say about how the names used for God in our Bible came about, but I will write something about that later. For now, I am concerned with the name that the LORD gave himself when he spoke to the patriarchs.
And that is the name: יהוה

These are 4 letters of the Hebrew alphabet. This is written from right to left. There are no letters for the vowels, but dots and dashes. (Nikud or Dagesch)
However, Hebrew also has a numerical value and each letter has a picture at its origin! This means that every word can contain a whole message! And that fascinates me in particular.

The Heh also comes from a person that is worshipping God with raised arms	The 6. letter is the Vav and means „nail“ or „plus“	The Letter Heh is the 5. letter and means „open window, Behold, Spirit or revalation	The 10. letter Jod comes from a hand and means strong deed

The overall meaning of the images

Read as a whole, these 4 letters mean:
Look at the hand, look at the nail. Or also:
The hand, look at it. The nail, look at it.

Hand: This is the mighty hand of God that made the whole world, because you can recognise God’s mighty hand in the creation.

Nail: This is the
nail that was driven through the hands and feet of Yeshua on the cross. The,
who created the world and you and me, allowed himself to be pierced with the nail out of love
so that we can be reunited with God. He is
also the great plus, the great ‘and’, God and man are reunited.
1 Ti 2:5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and men,

Roemer 1.19 – 20 because that which can be known of God is manifest among them, since God
God has made it manifest to them, because his invisible nature, namely his

The first two letters of God’s name represent the Creator. Look at the hand!
The second two letters mean that God is our Saviour.
This raises the question of why a saviour is necessary if a perfect God has created a perfect world. And the answer is obvious. It is no longer a perfect world. We live in a fallen world and we are separated from God.
BUT: salvation is in the name of God! Whoever will call on the name of the LORDיהוה shall be saved!

The meaning of the numbers:
Amazingly, the numerical value also contains mysteries that are perhaps even more tremendous.
The numbers are as you can see in the table: 10, 5, 6, 5 . That adds up to 26, a number that has a strong significance as a blessing in Israel. But what I find even more exciting is that the scientists have analysed the DNA. The DNA has protein bridges at the 10th, 5th, 6th and 5th positions. They have interpreted it to mean that the Creator has left a signature in his work. In other words, he has signed his work and thus labelled it as his work and his property.
Imagine your DNA in your body. It says all the time: ‘Look at the hand and look at the nail!’

This also explains the knowledge we have that there is a God.We long for something eternal and lasting. No one can deny it.Your DNA tells you day and night. People who say there is no God have to muster up a lot of strength, or perhaps we should say, plug the ears of their heart to ignore the loud cry of their DNA. But there are more signs of God in our bodies.I’ll get to that with the letter Shin.
